As in previous years, the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics – BCAM will participate in the conference as a collaborating centre of the Transborder Laboratory for Mathematics and Its Applications – TRANSMATH, within the Cross-Border Cooperation Laboratories (LTC). Professors Luis Vega (UPV/EHU – BCAM) and David Llanes from the Bordeaux Institute of Mathematics (Institut de Mathématique de Bordeaux) and the University of Bordeaux (Université de Bordeaux) will make the presentation as researchers responsible for TRANSMATH.
Among the results that will be presented are the co-direction of two doctoral theses co-supervision between the UPV/EHU and UB in BCAM, the collaboration with LTC AENIGME and the participation in the ENABLE project of ITN.
TRANSMATH in a project created in December 2018 for mathematics and its applications as part of the LCT, involving BACM, Tecnalia, the University of Bordeaux, the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the National Polytechnic Institute of Bordeaux (INP). The aim of the LCT is to generate an institutional framework for research teams in the Basque Country and Bordeaux to work together.
The programme of the Euskampus Bordeaux Eguna also includes a COVID table, where the effects and challenges of the pandemic on research will be discussed and various projects selected from the Euskampus Resilience COVID-19 programme will be presented.
