Motto:

This international workshop aims to present exciting recent advances and challenges in Neuroscience and Computational Biology: Mathematics, Simulations and Experiments. We invite leading experts to stimulate discussions at the interface of the aforementioned thematics and specifically challenge Mathematicians.

The workshop is organized along three days, with two one-hour plenary talks per day given by major figures who will present state-of-the-art of the field as well as their latest results. Plenary talks will be interspersed with 30-min invited talks (6 per day) spanning a spectrum as large as possible in Mathematical, Computational and Experimental Neuroscience as well as recent development in Computational Biology. Moreover, a one-hour poster session will be scheduled at the beginning of the conference and posters will stay on for the duration of the meeting. This will allow students, postdocs to show case their results to the leading experts. Noteworthy, the workshop program is organized in a way to ensure that it is not too crowded, and thus enable sufficient time for discussions and synergy to emerge.

We envisage to edit and publish proceedings of this meeting in the form of a special issue of a leading journal of the field, since we also wish to hold this meeting recurrently.
