Photography contest: mathematical boards

The walls of our offices are filled with blackboards on which BCAM researchers make mathematical calculations. There are times when those boards full of formulas look like real works of art to us and we feel sorry to erase them, so we decided to look for the best way to immortalize them: a photography contest!
On the occasion of Pi Day and our tenth anniversary, we are launching a competition in which we will look for the most beautiful and original mathematical board. Show us what you can do with the chalk or the marker, you can win a fantastic prize!
Are you up for it? Below we explain step by step how you can participate in the contest.

Deadlines
Interested users may participate in one of the following three categories:
1
Open category: any user, of legal age, who wishes to participate in the contest on a personal basis.
2
School category: non-university level schools that participate in a group, either by class or by team, and publish the photos from the official Twitter account of the institution. Images published from the Twitter accounts of the center's teachers will also be taken into consideration in this category, as long as they have permission and specify which school they are from.
3
BCAM category: the participation of the members of the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics during the dates in which the competition will take place will be gathered in this category.
Photographs that meet the requirements and have been published on Twitter between March 14th, 2019 and May 14th, 2019 (included) will be taken into consideration for the contest.
Once the deadline for submission of images is over, a jury formed by members of BCAM's management and external experts will select the best images of each category.
On June 10th, 2019 the names of the winners will be published on BCAM's Twitter account @BCAMBilbao
