Information about reimbursement requests

Participants in the SIAM Conference on Mathematical Aspects of Materials Science (MS20) who had already paid for the registration fee are offered the possibility to:

1. Participate in MS21 under the same terms as in MS20, in particular keeping the registration fee currently paid as a registration fee for MS21. In this case, you do not need to take any action, we will automatically keep your registration for the new conference.
2. Withdraw from MS21 and receive a reimbursement of 90% of the money paid as a registration fee minus the costs of the transfer (bank-PayPal). The loss of 10% of the registration payment is related to the costs already incurred in organising the MS20, with losses also partly supported by BCAM.

How do I request reimbursement?

To request reimbursement, you will have to fill the following form where you will have to provide your personal details and your registration code, which was provided to you by email. The deadline to request reimbursements will be 20 January 2021. No refunds will be made after that date.

The reimbursement of the registration fee will be done in the same way that the payment. Please be aware that due to the disruptions caused by the current situation processing the requests might take up to 4 weeks after submitting this form.
