Call for titles and abstracts for the minisymposia


We are inviting minisymposia speakers to submit the title and abstract for their presentations (25 minutes presentation and 5 minutes questions). The abstract should not to exceed 200 words.

The submission is realized through the Easychair.org website (see link on the left side of this page) and requires the creation of an Easy Chair account, a very quick procedure that will allow afterwards to update and correct your submission as necessary (also note that the same account must be used for registration; please note that is SIAM policy that no speaker can deliver a presentation without having been registered). To create an EasyChair account you should have a valid email address and do the following.


  • 1. pass a captcha to prove that you are not a robot;
  • 2. fill out a simple form with your personal information;
  • 3. follow the link we send to your email address to complete the account creation
Please note when submitting that you will be asked to select a "track" which is the terminology used by Easychair.org for the minisymposia.Please select the correct track (using the name and minisymposia code number of the type MSxx with x digit, provided to you by the minisymposia organiser). Please do not submit to minisymposia where you were not explicitly invited, these submissions will be rejected.

The deadline is February 1st, 2021.


 

CLOSED. Call for contributed lectures and virtual posters

Contributed presentations in lecture or poster format are invited in all areas consistent with the conference themes. A lecture format is generally a 15-minute oral presentation with an additional 5 minutes for discussion. The posters will be in virtual format, with a poster-type document and a short video presenting the document, in a manner similar to what happens in a usual poster presentation.

Each contributor, either for a lecture or a poster, must submit a title and a brief abstract (not to exceed 200 words). A poster may be presented in addition to a talk, provided the talk and the poster are on different results.

Please note when submitting that there different tracks for contributed lectures and posters. At some point in November also tracks for minisyposia talks will be added with a name starting with MS. The MS tracks (minisymposia) are by invitation only. Please do not submit to these tracks contributed lectures or posters, they will be automatically rejected.

The deadline to submit lectures and virtual posters will be December 15th, 2020. Submitters will be contacted regarding the acceptance of their proposal shortly thereafter.


 

CLOSED. Call for Minisymposia

Prospective minisymposium organizers are asked to submit a proposal consisting of a title, a list of organizers, an abstract (less than 200 words), and a tentative list of speakers (with their affiliations and emails). The deadline for minisymposium submissions will be November 30th, 2020 . Minisymposium organizers will be contacted regarding the acceptance of their proposal by December 15, 2020 or shortly thereafter.

We will be using the conference management system provided by Easychair.org After accepting the proposal the minisysmposia organisers will receive an invitation to create an account with Easychair.org to manage your minisymposium.

Upon acceptance of the proposal, each speaker will be asked to submit a title and abstract for minisymposium talks, posters and contributed lectures before February 1st, 2021.

Resubmission of minisymposia in MS20 will be automatically accepted.

The co-chairs strongly prefer that participants speak in only one minisymposium. Exceptions may be approved on the basis of strong scientific reasons.
